Baby’s Breath…You know, that delicate flower that usually serves as the “fill in” for floral arrangements. It’s named for something equally delicate, and something we are usually able to take for granted.Â
But when your baby has a tongue tie, their breath is not always optimal. If the tongue can’t naturally rest on the roof of the mouth, they are more likely to breathe through the mouth, rather than the nose. And mouth-breathing can cause poor sleep, jaws that are too narrow, and increased likelihood of allergies, asthma, and even ADHD.Â
There are ways to avoid these health issues, and set your little one up for success. Sometimes, a tongue tie release using the Fascial Freedom Method is all that’s needed. A consultation with us can help determine if your child is a candidate, and we can talk through whether this method would be beneficial in both the short term and the long term.Â
Let’s make sure your sweet baby is breathing well, so that you can too. 🙂Â
If you would like to continue the conversation about your baby’s breath, please give us a call.Â
